What our words mean

New to Outfiqe? Here's what each word means, in plain language.

The people on Outfiqe

Shopper
Anyone who browses or buys on Outfiqe.
Brand
A Nepali clothing label that sells on Outfiqe. Brands make or source their pieces, set their own prices and keep their stock up to date. Our team reviews every brand before it can sell. For example: a small Kathmandu studio that makes its own kurtas.Read about selling on Outfiqe
Muse
A real person who shares photos of the outfits they wear and tags the pieces. Muses help shoppers see how clothes look on a body, and they earn a commission when their look leads to a sale. Our team approves every muse. For example: Sita wears a kurta from a brand, posts the photo and tags it.Read about becoming a muse
Trusted muse

A muse's outfit photo, with tags on the pieces they're wearing.
Tag
A link from a look to the exact product in the photo. Tap it to see the price, sizes and brand. A brand checks each tag before it goes live, unless the muse is trusted.

Collection
A themed group of pieces you can browse together.
Leaderboard
A ranking of the brands and muses doing well on Outfiqe.
Verified purchase
A badge on reviews. Only people who received the product can review it, so every review carries it.
